My WordPress 1.5 Got Hacked
Well, my sites recently recovered from a real good hacking on my xmlrpc.php file from the insecure WordPress 1.5. Of course, I waited too long to upgrade all of my sites…. my bad. But I don’t think that being down for 60 hours was totally right either.
Hosting companies really piss me off. How about I ask a question, and get an answer when my site is down? I don’t get why it takes fricking days to figure out what a problem is, and then fix it, and then let me know what happened.
I don’t know – maybe just upset, but in the end, I could’ve avoided it by upgrading sooner. Ah well….
