Twizzlers, the Un-Licorice
Did you know the word “licorice” appears zero times on a bag of Twizzlers? I’m not sure what that means, but what it DOESN’T mean is that Twizzlers is licorice.
What ever happened to the old Switzer’s Licorice? They had bites and ropes too… but it was actual licorice. I know Hersey’s bought them – but it was probably to put them out of business. What a shame… a tragedy really. I think I used to eat a bag of Switzer’s Black Licorice bites every day when I was a kid.
If anyone knows where to find “real” Switzer’s Licorice, let me know!
