Over the Badger’s first 3 games, they’re averaging 86.3 points per game, good enough to make them FOURTH on the ppg list for the entire country…. if they included Wisconsin on the list at all: HERE (Addition: 11/26/05 – WI has been added to the list, now that there’s plenty of teams they can put ahead of them. Bucky’s around #20 or so…)

Evidently, the media thinks so low of Wisconsin, that they don’t even include them on the page which includes all the college basketball teams. Somebody at CBS must be thinking, “they probably only have 36 points per game like they did that one time in that one game that one year with Dick Bennett.”

What the hell is wrong with these people?

Admittingly, these last two games gave me sweaty hands while listening on the radio, IM’ing the play-by-play to a friend over Trillian Pro… BUT, it was a turnament atmosphere… and having 2 true freshman kicking as much ass as Landry and Krabenhoft are, I think they’re going to be okay.

I mean, in clutch-time they’ve got Landry (freshman), Flowers (sophomore), Butch (sophomore), and Kam and Tucker (juniors). This says a lot for what the team is going to be like next year..

Back to my meaning… will the media please get it through their thick skulls that Wisconsin doesn’t run a slow-down offense!!?? If an ESPN Ex-Wisconsinite like Andy Katz won’t say something this year, I might have to start a petition or something.
