I’m so sick of this it’s not even funny. I could be more pissed about the weather today, except the rest of my pissyness has been taken up by Charter cable - which I’ll write about in a minute…
Last night, the Badgers skillfully put out “The” Ohio State University and moved into 2nd place in the Big Ten - with the slippery path they were falling down, it’s impressive that they are where they are now. Anyway, after the game the quarter-sized snow flakes were already falling - and accumulating. By the time I got to my car, there was a good 3 inches piled up.
So, 25 mph down the beltline to get home… 45 minutes later (for a 15 minute drive) I try to get up my driveway… back and forth 3 times until my car finds the traction and momentum to get up.
This morning it’s even worse… more inches and more snow falling… there was thunder and lighting to go with it this time. So I drive to work (the picture above was taken on that drive - dangerous? Sure, but I was smoking at the same time too), and I can’t see where the road ends and the sidewalk starts… for all I know, I’m on the sidewalk right now. Everything is blended together… a plow has yet to touch the roads I’m on. Intersections? Forget it… the only way you’ll know you’re at an intersection is if there’s a light, or if a car is coming from the perpendicular directions.
No plows anywhere. Get to work… no one’s shoveled, plowed, nothing. I know at this point, that my car will not be making it home. The snow has let up a small bit, but I know it’s going to be a mess tonight. Everything in town is closed - malls, stores, schools, everything…
I hate this crap.

Nice pic, but I’d rather you watch the road while driving and smoking in a blizzard hun ;)
