I came across another cool site last weekend and Deann, Derek and I quickly found ourselves spending hours adding information to it. The site is Geni – a family tree site that allows you to build your family tree, invite your family members to help you build it, add information, pictures, and more.

It’s reportedly grown much faster than expected and last weekend the site was very slow to load. This weekend it seems much better. Currently, there is no way to export or print your tree, but it’s quite easy to navigate around, add family members, invite them, and see your tree grow before your eyes.

We have a tree from our Grandmother that goes back to a 5x Great Grandfather from the Revolutionary War, so it’ll be fun to get a hold of that and grow our tree even further.
