It was a crazy day today. Luckily, this weekend went really well – Friday Mandi and I went and had fish fry, Saturday my dad had his first cook-out of the summer and Mandi and I were there to hang out on the deck, then on Sunday we went to her mom’s and I met her best friend, brother and his wife, and her mom. Great food and great people… it was really a fun and relaxing afternoon.

Today was the start of an unexpected busy week. I figured I would have today and tomorrow to work on a new design project (Red Star), however I found myself technically out of a job for 4 hours. We have been interviewing to fill my previous position of Affiliate Marketing Manager, and unknown to me, someone was hired Friday evening. The only problem, is that although I’ve been fueling both duties as the web developer and my previous position, nothing had been made official as my pay structure will be changing fairly drastically.

So… people were frantic trying to figure out who didn’t do what and why other people didn’t know that things weren’t settled with me yet, but as of tomorrow AM, it should be all nailed down and things will be offiical. I’ll be spending a lot of time this week training the new guy and still trying to focus on several web projects we have going on.

I’m looking forward to a chill night tonight with some food, Heroes, and of course Mandi.
