Dealing with Strep Throat
I’m not sure if most of you have had strep or not, but I can tell you with certainty that I haven’t. When I was little, my brother and sister would always get it, but never me! I was always treated though because I was considered a “carrier.” Evidently I took in the bacteria, but it never infected me because I’m too tough. :)
Mandi isn’t that tough.
She’s had a sore throat the last few days – and last night was in a lot of pain. I went and got her some stuff, but she only got a couple hours of sleep and we had to go into Urgent Care this morning. Her insurance sucks – so we drove an hour and a half to Lake Geneva. WTH.
She’s the maid of honor in a wedding this weekend, which makes it a little more difficult… but after getting diagnosed and starting to take the antibiotic, she’s been feeling better. I ended up going into work around 1, but had gotten a lot of help from people there so I wasn’t really rushed to get anything done.
So tomorrow we’ll hit the wedding and the reception (for a little while?) and I’ll be trying to catch the Badger game on a TV somewhere.
Get out and enjoy the last warm weekend we’ll probably have this year!
