It came out of nowhere, but it seems that Amazon.com has silently earned all of my shopping business - almost regardless of what the product is.
It started a few years ago when I first became an Amazon Prime member to get free 2-day shipping on almost everything the site sells. At first I did it just because the $80 yearly cost was going to be less than ...

This was on last weekend's Saturday Night Live with Justin Timberlake and NBC just pushed up the uncensored version to YouTube today.
It's gotta be one of the funniest of the SNL Digital Shorts... enjoy:

Next May, we'll see the 3rd installment of the series, and it looks to surpass the first two in visual entertainment. You can see the trailer online or in HD here, and get desktops and screen savers at the Sony site for the movie.
The new flick brings in different stars to the mix. Topher Grace looks like he plays a photographer, and I heard possibly a ...

So Lost's season 2 finale was last night. Some people have to remind themselves that Lost is a show hell-bent on leaving you completely clueless - especially at the end of a season... just like Alias was. So, going in - I had assumed all of the "answers" they were going to give would either not really happen, or be muddied with twice as many questions...
Desmond ...

Alias ended it's 5-year run last night with a 2-hour series finale. On the plus side, I actually liked how they left everything at the end of the show... which is rare for me watching a series finale.
Syd & Vaughn - live in a remote location on the beach to get away from things. Their daughter is shown to have the ability Sydney has a child... maybe ...

After all the "professional" reviews knocking The Da Vinci Code movie, my 2-year excitement of post-book movie anticipation started to dwindle. Actually, it was over a year ago when George Clooney was tabbed as lead character, Robert Langdon, and was then replaced with Tom Hanks by Director Ron Howard that my excitement started a downhill roll... I'm not a big Tom Hanks fan - not ...

An admitted sucker for advertising, the new Coke Blak bottles have me itching to find it somewhere. I'm sorry, I just love new ideas and catchy marketing gimmicks. I'll try it just to eventually find a product that actually lives up to it's own hype.
Oh, what is it you ask? Coke Blak is a new type of effervescent Coke and coffee drink. Evidently, it was ...

According to the horribly acted "Ten Commandments" Movie which started airing on ABC last night, Moses evidently either used, or thought about, an Atom bomb while parting the Red Sea.
I'm not sure what exactly the producers of this show were thinking... as Moses started to part the sea, there was a video collage of lava bursting under water, fish swimming away - this makes sense, and then the ...

Yesterday in Las Vegas, the same city where he passed away almost 10 years ago, a clay sculpture of Tupac Shakur was unveiled at the famous wax museum chain Madame Tussauds. The $200,000 sculpture stands not far from where the rapper was gunned down in 1996. His murder remains unsolved.
An interview with the artist, Jeni Fairey, appears here.
The details are flawless down to the recreation of every ...

Here's something that has to be the oldest news that’s new to me... the RIAA has a Gold and Platinum award for digital downloads! The RIAA announced their program in July of 2004!!! Most of us know that there's been Gold and Platinum awards for physical record sales (500,000 and 1,000,000 respectively) - a little less known fact is that they have a Diamond award for 10 ...
