It's obviously been a while since I've posted anything here. For some reason, I just didn't seem to find the time to fit in updating people who might check this. I decided that I needed to - even if just to provide myself with an outlet to clear everything that has happened over the last several months.
I'm Married
September 20, 2008, I married the greatest woman on ...

A Lifesaver? No... a REAL ring.
As a guy, I really didn't think I'd be into finding a ring for myself... especially since I've never worn one before. But this last week we scoured the internet and almost every jewelry store in town before i found "the one."
Who would've thought I would be so picky? ;) Ok, anyone who knows me... but the fact is, the selection of mens ...

The eggnog is empty, the wrapping paper is <strike>in the garbage</strike> in a box ready to be moved to the garbage, and my brain and body are tired from traveling.
My Christmas started on Saturday morning as Mandi and I traveled north to Chippewa Falls to see my family. We ate, sang, played games, continued our traditions (reading Night Before Christmas enthusiastically, letting the Christmas Spirit in through ...

Fiancé or Fiancée?
Until this weekend, I wasn't aware there was a different spelling for the word dependent on gender... that is until I became the one with a single é.
That's right - Elliott's engaged!
After several weeks of planning, I pulled off a really fun proposal that went flawlessly. I had been sitting on the ring for a while, and it was horrifically difficult to have to wait, ...

It was a long, long weekend. Lots to do... busy every second. But now that it's all done, I can honestly say that it was the best time of my life.
The wedding was beautiful, the reception was so much fun. Everyone was up dancing from the first song till the last! My speech went great... the slide show I did went over well... I ...

In the field, snow is glistening. Wait, no. That's Christmas.
My brother, Derek, gets married this Saturday, and as it draws closer I find myself getting pretty emotional about it. I haven't written my best man toast yet, but I did just complete their reception slide show. I must say, I have a knack for that crap. It'll definitely be memorable.
So, the toast - speech ...

I'm not even going to mention the lag between posts here, so back off ok? :)
This weekend is the 4th of almost every booked weekend this summer. After laundry, ironing and packing tonight; tomorrow morning I head up to Eau Claire with Mandi for my good friend JoDean's wedding. Mandi will finally get to meet my Mom... probably for lunch on Saturday and then we're going ...

I have an exciting weekend ahead.
I've been with Mandi for a couple of weeks now, and things with us have been wonderful. We have similar core values, compatible ways of communicating, and interestingly enough - very different interests. These different interests seem to be able to keep us strong individually, but allow us to enjoy things together that we may not take the time to enjoy ...

Several months ago, I registered the kosmicki.org domain name. The point was to have a spot for my brother, sister and I to update others in our extended family what's going on with us. Well, I finally got around to putting up a start page - just a quick summary of all of us with links to things we're involved with online.
In the future, I hope ...

I came across another cool site last weekend and Deann, Derek and I quickly found ourselves spending hours adding information to it. The site is Geni - a family tree site that allows you to build your family tree, invite your family members to help you build it, add information, pictures, and more.
It's reportedly grown much faster than expected and last weekend the site was very slow ...
